Power Bank review: Boat Energyshroom PB 09

 Experience of using Boat Energyshroom PB 09 for 10 days

In this article I'll share my experience of using Boat Energyshroom PB 09 power bank. A few days ago, it was loadshedding at my home and my two phones were at the verge of getting power off. I just started my bike and went out to search for a shop wher I could get a power bank. I suddenly came across a new showroom of boat. I just stopped and stepped into the showroom and asked if I could get a power bank. Frankly speaking, I was quite surprised to hear that 'yes sir'. Yes, boat is basically a brand which deals in sound systems. But they have a series of power bank also to offer. I just bought it and came home.

Power back up

A power bank is as good as it's power back up capacity. Boat Energyshroom PB 09 has a capacity of 10,000 mAh. It means it should give two full charge to a 5000 mAh battery. Is it so? No, it's not that simple. Actually a 10,000 mAh power bank can't give output of 10,000 mAh. The actual output is always lesser. This power bank gave me one full charge to my 5000 mAh phone and and a half to the other phone. It means it has an actual output of almost 7500 mAh, which is quite good in my opinion.

Weight

Weight is another very important factor of a power bank. Most of the power banks are very bulky and uncomfortable to carry. This power bank from Boat is quite light weight and sleek in design. It can be put in your jeans pocket easily without worrying about the destiny of your pocket. 

Look

This power bank looks very nice. With the sleek design it's blueish grey colour give it a perfect look. Black cap on one corner only enhanced the beauty. 

Ports, lights and controls

This power bank has two input and two output ports. One input port is of C type and the other is normal micro USB type. Two outputs are of USB type. That means you can charge this power bank by both type of charging cables (C type and micro USB) and you can charge two device at the same time from this power bank. The power bank also has 4 point indicator lights to indicate charge level and it has a power button also.
